The Simme-Seat is manufactured with plate steel. It is then sandblasted and powder coated with super durable paint. The strong perforated seats minimize graffiti and allow moisture run-off. Simme-Seats are easily installed and virtually maintenance-free.
Simme-Seats can be ordered with or without the poles and/or dividers and are available in over 150 RAL Colors, which gives transit systems the opportunity to display their unique brand.
Simme-Seats have been rated by engineers to hold up to 500 lbs. per seat, as well as withstand winds up to 162 MPH.
These seats provide an excellent seating options for the elderly and others who need a place to sit down while waiting for the bus. The Simme-Seat also helps to keep people (especially children) from waiting in dangerous areas, such as on the curb.
Simme-Seats provide much needed seating at bus stops not served by a shelter. Also, because of their compact size, people are unable to sleep on them, unlike traditional benches.
